Vulnerability Scanning

Regulated industries and organization’s supporting regulated industries need to periodically test systems for vulnerabilities. A Network Vulnerability Scan (NVS) can reveal obvious deficiencies in networked systems and is the first task when performing a technical audit. The results of an NVS are then used to determine both the internal and external IT risk. An NVS assists with:

  • Exposing unpatched systems
  • Revealing unknown or deprecated devices on the network
  • Determining exposure to hackers or internal users with malicious intent
  • Determining the risk of potential compromise
  • Budgeting
  • Compliance and Risk Assessments
